The Harvey House Cookbook is a history, along with the recipes, of the restaurants found along the route of the Santa Fe railroad. These restaurants provided good food as well as a clean, pleasant atmosphere for weary travelers. The book is enjoyable to read for both the historical perspective as well as the tasty recipes.
